These are some instructions to get started. I&#8217;m really not sure what its doing, but it reorganizes clips of sound into scatter diagrams that you can play by intersecting with the mouse. It would be interesting to try this program with Mira &#8211; but I think its using an external object that Mira doesn&#8217;t understand.<\/p>\n<h3>download\/install<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Install latest version of FTM (from IRCAM) that you can find &#8211; I installed FTM 2.6.0 beta<\/li>\n<li>Download latest version of cataRT and move it somewhere<\/li>\n<li>add the file path to main folder to max file preferences<\/li>\n<li>The example below is tutorial 1-2 in the tutorials folder<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>instructions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>turn up the volume<\/li>\n<li>click the import maxmsp sequences message<\/li>\n<li>click the find-units-within-pitch message<\/li>\n<li>double click the catart.lcd findtutcorps abstraction (outlined in pink)<\/li>\n<li>move the mouse around in the lcd to play various sounds<\/li>\n<li>try configurations on the right sidebar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CataRt is a visual granular synthesizer project from IRCAM.
